The ongoing conflict in Israel has significantly affected our work. Complimentary tours have decreased by more then half. Ongoing rocket fire prevented us from traveling to film our popular online educational program. Rapidly rising anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment online resulted in an unprecedented volume of attacks targeting our website and social media. And after our back-to-back Newsweek and CBS News features went viral, we are inundated with hate mail and death threats - online, offline and even in person. These obstacles and distractions have made achieving our goals more difficult then ever. But nothing has stopped us from pursuing our mission to secure equal rights and access to the Temple Mount... for all people of all faiths.

But the fight has not yet been won, and it is far from over. Although we have secured the right to hishtaḥavaya (to prostrate, or bow) on the eastern side of the Temple Mount complex (as Jews traditionally did during when the Temple stood), and prayers are more audible then ever, full equal rights remain unrealized. When or where we are permitted to bow, sing and dance is limited. Demands to pray "more quietly" is subject to the personal preferences of the attending police officer. And the arrest, detainment or removal of worshippers from the Temple Mount is frequent and often at random.
Without your support, we may not be able to continue our critical work in the coming year, and are at significant risk of having to curtail our activities, or worse, close High On The Har permanently, despite THIS being the time our presence and our efforts are most in demand... and more needed then ever.
